Nocilla's Emoji cups / Emoji-vasos de Nocilla
First of all: Nocilla = Nutella. I mean, which one is better is debatable, but that's all you need to know to get this product if you're not from Spain.
I was commissioned by Fake Studio to design a couple of characters and their props, based on the social apps emojis we all know and use. Then would have to animate them for a 10 second TV ad for Nocilla.
Had to make from scratch not only the kids characters, but a whole bunch of glasses, emojis, toast, hearts, all in vectors (Flash/AI).
Then I had to animate a few takes of the kids characters and the Special Effects that play around the jumping glass. My buddy Victor Duque made the Jumping Glass animation and the background motion graphics.

This where the final approved kids designs, after a few discarded more emoji-like proposals.
At the last moment we decided to try making our own Whatsapp-like background, featuring the client's logo and other related elements. Turned out pretty cute, I think.
Here's a closeup of some of the element I had to re design in Flash. They end up being so tiny!
In the first drafts, there was very little chocolate on the toast.
